What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a gentle, whole-person system of medicine developed in Germany in the late 1700s by physician Dr Samuel Hahnemann. Instead of focusing solely on suppressing unwanted symptoms, homeopathy seeks to understand why those symptoms are appearing, looking for the root cause and underlying imbalance in the body.
Homeopathic remedies work by stimulating your body’s own natural healing response, supporting a return to balance and long-term wellbeing. Many people are drawn to homeopathy because it works with the body, rather than forcing change.
Homeopathy is holistic and highly individualised. Your physical symptoms, emotional state, stress levels, energy and overall wellbeing are all considered important. A homeopath takes time to listen to your full story, treating you as a whole person rather than a set of isolated symptoms.
Because no two people are the same, there is no single remedy for a headache, cold or digestive issue. Instead, your homeopath looks at what’s unique about you – how your symptoms feel, what affects them, how you experience them, how is your mood, your appetite, your energy levels? This detailed information helps your homeopath choose a remedy tailored specifically to support your healing.

Will homeopathy work for me?
If you’re curious about homeopathy but unsure whether it’s right for you and your family, that’s completely natural. I’m always happy to have a relaxed chat – by phone, WhatsApp, Zoom or in person – before you commit to a course of treatment.
It’s a chance for you to ask questions, share what’s been going on for you, and get a feel for how homeopathy works. We can also see whether we’re a good fit, with no pressure and no obligation.
